For the third year in a row, The Bellingham Herald will run love poems written by Whatcom County residents in honor of Valentine’s Day.

Zara Stevens of DVSAS dropped in on our monthly board meeting to say hello and pick up the check from the Born in Flames Slam.  Our lushly bearded arts director Robert was on hand to present the thing.  Look at them go!

poetrynight Needs A Secretary!

Who doesn’t like taking notes and making phone calls and keeping minutes and drafting letters and giving reports?
Poetrynight has need of a new secretary.  This is a board position and carries all sorts of fancy responsibilities, not least of which is wrangling our Arts Director, Robert, into something resembling productivity.
