Workshops

P.I.P.E. offers many different workshops, including, but never limited to:

POETRY IMMERSION

Bringing poets into the classroom to teach, perform and inspire.  Performing their own work, and presenting the works of other writers, the poet engages and excites the students, introducing them to a creative realm previously unknown to them.

STRUCTURED WORKSHOPS

P.I.P.E’s poets present lessons on various elements of poetry. The poets meet with the teachers before the workshops begin to plan a specific curriculum based on the individual classroom’s academic needs. The poets put special emphasis on inspiring a passion and need for writing within the students.
